SOUTHERN BREAKDOWN BAND
is based on the belief that our customers are of the utmost importance,and our band is committed to fulfilling their needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
We would welcome the opportunity to perform for you, and play some of the best classic country music in the industry. We would love to show off our vocal and musical abilities for you.
With Montana Tim on rhythm guitar, lead and backup vocals, Donnie Simmons on Bass guitar, lead and back up vocals, Allen Jones on lead guitar, lead and backup vocals, Bob Littleton on steel guitar, and Bob Stoutenberg on drums. When needed, Southern BreakDown has an array of talented friends and players that can fill in and augment our show. From fiddle, to keys, to horn, there is a surprise for everyone.
Formed early in 1989 Southern BreakDown has performed in venues throughout the Western United States. Just some of these are; Las Vegas, Page Arizona, Southern California, Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah, and as far North as Seattle Washington, and as far South as the Texas Panhandle.
Since our home is in the great Northwest, we have played just about everywhere there has been music. We have played at numerous County, and State Fairs, Music on the Water front, the Bull Riders Only circuit, as well as Multiple Rodeos. and even the Mayor's Ball downtown Portland.
We were involved in the early Bush Beer Promotions on the West Coast for Anhauser Bush, Played Hayrides, BBQ's at the Flying M Ranch, and many company functions on both local, and National levels. We have also played at popular dance clubs, such as; Jubitz Truck Stop in Portland, Ore., Mr. B's Truck Stop in Troutdale, Ore., The Drum in Portland, Ore.,and Jollies in Clark Co. Washington, the Spinning Wheel in Canby, Ore. Sandy Mountain Days in Sandy, Ore. The blueberry Festival on Mt Hood, just to name a few.
